Storm Watch

He was supposed to be a wild fling in the forest, but then he wanted more.

Hiking was supposed to get the past out of my mind, let me find freedom that I felt was missing for so long. Especially after spending the pandemic with an idiot ex-boyfriend who left me for the waitress at the local dive bar.

Instead I ended up at the end of park ranger Hayden Storme’s rifle barrel in the middle of Yosemite.

He was perfect. All hot, raw power, and a grin to die for.

It was supposed to just be the one time with no strings attached.

Maybe it is not just him who wants more.

But me, too.
