Ghost

They call me Ghost.
It’s a name with many meanings.
A hunter. A threat. A shadow in the night.
For me, a haunted soul fit the best.
I kept my focus on the club.
I lived it.
Breathed it.
It was the only thing that kept the demons at bay.
And then, Prez chose me to watch over the woman and her kid.
My job was to keep them safe and make sure her crazy ex steered clear.
It seemed simple enough.
But this girl got to me.
She was beautiful but damaged, strong but vulnerable, and the pull I felt towards her was undeniable.
